East Lansing Modern

The exhibit “East Lansing Modern, 1940-1970” explores the city’s place in Michigan’s modern design heritage. On display now through August 18, 2013, the exhibit examines the post war housing boom and the influence it had in shaping the Modernist city.

Exhibit visitors will also see the furnishings, small appliances, tableware and other decorative arts which occupied the homes during this time.
