Five adventurous friends are currently attempting to make the 60-mile journey across Lake Michigan on stand-up paddle boards. They’re leaving from Algoma, WI and heading for Frankfort, MI; they will be trailed by a support boat for safety. Previous attempts by paddle boarders to cross the lake have been met with 17-foot waves. We’ll see how they fare!
