We’re still in the throes of winter, but spring is just around the corner and talk in Detroit has turned to gardening. The Michigan Urban Farming Initiative is raising funds to expand their operations in Detroit’s North End neighborhood. The successful city farm hopes to add a children’s garden and outdoor classroom.
